Job summary

Recruitment Legends is seeking a Head of Operations in Cape Town to provide visible, disciplined, and commercially responsible leadership across hotel, spa, and restaurant operations. You will lead senior managers, maintain premium service standards, manage operational risk, control costs, and read financial and guest-feedback data to drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 8–10 years in hospitality operations, 3–5 years in a senior multi‑department or general management

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in hospitality operations, including 3–5 years in a senior multi-department or general management role.
• Experience spanning hotel, food and beverage, and/or spa operations.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Opera PMS, and Micros point-of-sale systems.
• Experience using maintenance/work-order platforms, guest-feedback platforms, scheduling tools, stock-control systems, and operational reporting tools.
• Ability to lead senior managers, maintain luxury or premium service standards, manage operational risk, control costs, and read financial and guest-feedback data.
• Objective, evidence-based judgement, attention to detail, consistency, persistence, clear and respectful communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
• Leadership, food and beverage, service quality, health and safety, facilities, or financial management training.
