anonymous hotel in Cape Town City Centre seeks an experienced F&B Duty Manager to oversee daily restaurant, bar and broader F&B operations, leading from the floor and maintaining service standards to support smooth daily operations.

You will supervise teams, conduct pre-service briefings, manage guest requests and ensure opening/closing procedures, stock controls and SOP compliance across F&B.

Formación

• Proven previous experience in Food & Beverage operations.
• Supervisory or Duty Management experience within a hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong restaurant and bar operational knowledge.
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
• Confident floor leadership ability.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of stock and operational controls.
• Professional and well presented.
• Able to remain calm during busy services.
• Hands-on leadership style.
• Flexible to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations
• Maintain guest service and presentation standards
• Lead restaurant and bar teams during shifts
• Conduct pre-service briefings and allocate duties
• Monitor service flow and respond to challenges
• Handle guest requests, feedback and service recovery
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
• Assist with stock controls and operational procedures
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene and readiness of F&B areas
• Support staff training, coaching and performance
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Front Office and other departments
• Assist with functions and events when required
