Job summary

Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch on-site is seeking a Front Office Service Ambassador for a permanent contract. You will welcome guests, manage front desk operations including check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, assist with the switchboard, and respond to guest needs promptly.

The role requires matric, hospitality qualification preferred, two years’ front office experience in hospitality, willingness to work varied shifts and across functions, and proficiency with MS Office and Opera

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 completed.
• Hospitality-related tertiary qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years front office receptionist experience in hospitality.
• Willing to work various shifts and across functions.
• Proficient in MS Office and Opera Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations including check-ins and check-outs.
• Handle reservations (phone and walk-in) and assist with switchboard.
• Attend to guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Support administrative tasks and maintain reception area presentation.
• Ensure compliance with petty cash and floats procedures.
