Job summary

Maslow Hotel is seeking a Receptionist to join its Front Office team in South Africa. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, manage check-in/check-out, and promote hotel services to ensure a memorable stay.

The role requires at least 2 years in a customer service environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work shifts. Preference may be given to candidates with additional language skills relevant to the market.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment, preferably hospitality.
• Strong communication and guest service orientation.
• Willingness to work shifts and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to promote hotel services and upsell where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for guests at reception.
• Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Promote room upgrades, hotel services, and activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of reception and public areas.
• Provide information on facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally to protect the hotel's reputation.
