Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator in Tembisa to be the frontline contact for guests from arrival to departure. You will manage reservations, assist with inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and help ensure a memorable stay.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with PMS and office software. A high school diploma is required; hospitality education is a plus, with opportunities for overtime and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and standard office software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further hospitality education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of guest services, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns efficiently, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure prompt resolution.
• Maintain detailed guest records and manage billing and payment processes accurately.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and activities to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist in training and supervising front desk staff to ensure consistent service standards.
• Handle complaints and service recovery effectively, aiming to retain guest loyalty.
