Job summary

Placements24 seeks a creative and organized Resort Activities Coordinator for a premier Stellenbosch resort. You will plan and lead daily activities such as fitness sessions, wine-tasting introductions, and children’s programs, shaping memorable guest experiences.

The role requires strong planning, hospitality, and communication skills, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of Stellenbosch attractions is a plus, and you will coordinate with vendors and manage resources

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or recreation coordination.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement a daily schedule of engaging resort activities for guests.
• Coordinate and lead activities such as guided nature walks, wine tasting introductions, children's programs, and fitness sessions.
• Manage activity resources, including booking venues, arranging transportation, and liaising with external vendors.
• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in line with resort policies.
• Promote upcoming activities through signage, social media, and guest communications.
• Gather guest feedback to improve offerings and overall satisfaction in Stellenbosch.
