Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Resort Activities Coordinator in Polokwane to design and manage engaging recreational programmes for guests of all ages, from sports and games to cultural workshops and entertainment.

You will plan daily schedules, supervise activities, oversee equipment and safety, promote participation, and collaborate with F&B and housekeeping to ensure memorable resort experiences. A creative, guest‑focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in recreation, events, or similar roles, preferably in resorts or hotels.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to engage guests of all ages and lead activities enthusiastically.
• Knowledge of recreational activities, sports and games.
• First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
• Creative mindset focused on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute a daily schedule of resort activities and entertainment.
• Develop diverse activity programs for various ages and interests.
• Manage supplies, equipment and venues, ensuring safety and maintenance.
• Lead and supervise guests during activities.
• Promote activities through resort channels and personal interactions.
• Coordinate with food & beverage and housekeeping for seamless execution.
