R17 Ventures in Cape Town, SA, is seeking a Mid-Level Performance Marketer to own lead-generation campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads. You will strategise, build, and optimise, while maintaining strong client relationships and reporting on lead quality and outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in paid media, hands-on Google/Meta experience, and a proactive mindset to grow beyond day-to-day management. This is a hybrid, full-time role with growth opportunities at R17 Ventures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on proven experience managing paid media campaigns.
• Strong lead-generation experience across both Google Ads and Meta Ads.
• Confident managing Google Search campaigns, keyword strategies and bidding.
• Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager.
• Good working knowledge of GA4 and conversion reporting.
• Understanding of key metrics such as CPL, qualified CPL, conversion rate and CPA.
• Ability to build, optimize and troubleshoot campaigns independently.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple client accounts and priorities.
• Keeps up to date with industry developments, platform changes and emerging paid media best practices, and applies relevant learnings to campaign strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, manage and optimise lead-generation campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
• Manage Google Search, Demand Gen and Performance Max campaigns.
• Manage Meta prospecting, retargeting, website conversion and instant-form campaigns.
• Conduct keyword research, search-term analysis and negative keyword management.
• Use GA4 and platform data to understand the full lead journey.
• Monitor budgets, pacing, lead volume, CPL, qualified lead rate and CPA.
• Analyse campaign, audience, keyword, landing-page and creative performance.
• Develop and manage structured testing plans.
• Maintain accurate campaign setups, naming conventions and documentation.
• Identify tracking, landing-page and performance issues early.
• Turn performance data into clear recommendations for clients and internal teams.
• Work closely with pod leads, creatives and other specialists.
• Communicate proactively and take ownership of deadlines and account performance.
