Job summary

The South African Breweries Ltd in East London is seeking a sales-focused professional to drive growth in volumes and market share. You will build sustainable competitiveness by delivering market driven, differentiated service in identified segments and by effectively managing distributor networks.

Ideal candidates will have a 3-year degree and at least 2 years of sales/marketing/FMCG experience, with a valid Code 8 driver’s license and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3-year degree qualification.
• At least 2 years experience in sales/marketing/FMCG.
• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 drivers’ license.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise distributors of assigned sector (order, payment, re-distribution).
• Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock in the customers and retail outlets.
• Ensure chillers are properly placed in the outlet of the sector and used exclusively for IBPLC products.
• Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets.
• Closely monitor actions of the competition.
