Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a Group Financial Manager for a prominent diversified industrial group based in Klerksdorp, North West. You will lead consolidated financial reporting across the group, oversee subsidiary finance operations, and drive budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning.

Your role requires IFRS expertise, SA tax knowledge, and strong leadership to mentor finance teams and liaise with external auditors. Relocation to Klerksdorp is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
• CA(SA) or ACCA professional qualification is essential.
• 10+ years of financial management experience with group consolidations.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, SA tax legislation, and corporate finance.
• Significant experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle ERP and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience within a group structure is advantageous.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Klerksdorp.

Responsibilities

• Manage the consolidated financial reporting for the entire group under IFRS.
• Oversee the financial operations of all subsidiary companies.
• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying KPIs and trends.
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow and FX exposure.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
• Ensure timely statutory and regulatory filings.
• Mentor and develop finance teams across subsidiaries.
• Drive financial system enhancements and process improvements.
