Placements24 is recruiting a Group Financial Manager for a prominent diversified industrial group based in Klerksdorp, North West. You will lead consolidated financial reporting across the group, oversee subsidiary finance operations, and drive budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning.

Your role requires IFRS expertise, SA tax knowledge, and strong leadership to mentor finance teams and liaise with external auditors. Relocation to Klerksdorp is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
• CA(SA) or ACCA professional qualification is essential.
• 10+ years of financial management experience with group consolidations.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, SA tax legislation, and corporate finance.
• Significant experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle ERP and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience within a group structure is advantageous.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Klerksdorp.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.


• A professional qualification such as CA(SA) or ACCA is essential.


• A minimum of 10 years of extensive financial management experience, with a proven track record in group consolidations and reporting.


• Deep understanding of IFRS, South African tax legislation, and corporate finance.


• Significant experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.


• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information effectively.


• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
