Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Group Financial Manager to lead the financial operations across its Cape Town-based units. You will consolidate results, drive planning, and shape the group’s financial strategy within a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

You will mentor a finance team, ensure IFRS-compliant reporting, manage treasury, and uphold strong internal controls. A CA(SA) or ACCA and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or ACCA or equivalent required.
• 8+ years in financial management, ideally in group structure.
• Strong IFRS and financial reporting expertise.
• Proven track record in leading finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the group.
• Oversee consolidated IFRS financial statements for multiple entities.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, and investment activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance standards.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and risk management.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
