Placements24 is seeking a strategic Group Financial Manager to lead the financial operations across its Cape Town-based units. You will consolidate results, drive planning, and shape the group’s financial strategy within a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

You will mentor a finance team, ensure IFRS-compliant reporting, manage treasury, and uphold strong internal controls. A CA(SA) or ACCA and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.

• Mentor and lead a team of finance professionals, fostering their development and performance.

Requirements

• A professional accounting qualification such as CA(SA) , ACCA, or equivalent is essential.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in financial management, preferably within a group structure or large corporation.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, investment appraisal, and risk management principles.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and financial modeling .
