Job summary

AECOM Corporation is seeking a Software License Governance Specialist to oversee and optimise Cornerstone engineering licenses across the global enterprise. You will ensure legal compliance, cost-efficient utilization, and alignment with technology and business objectives.

Based in Pretoria, you will work within the Enterprise Capability team, coordinating with procurement, budgeting, governance, and engineering stakeholders to maintain license control and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business, or related field and four years of experience in license management.
• Experience in license management, software asset management, or IT procurement.
• Experience in a global or engineering-focused environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a centralised and accurate inventory of all Cornerstone engineering software licenses and related documents.
• Monitor, audit, and validate software license usage to ensure contractual and legal compliance.
• Interpret license entitlements, terms, and vendor contractual obligations.
• Mitigate compliance risks through proactive monitoring and process improvements.
• Contribute to governance documents relating to licensing and provide training on compliance.
