Job summary

AECOM in South Africa seeks a License Governance Specialist to oversee global Cornerstone software licenses, ensure compliance, and optimize costs across the enterprise. You will collaborate with Enterprise Capability, IT Procurement and engineering teams to align licensing with project needs and drive governance improvements through data-driven analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, business, or related field with 4 years of license management or software asset management experience.
• Experience in license management, software asset management, or IT procurement.
• Experience in a global or engineering-focused environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a central inventory of Cornerstone engineering software licenses and documents.
• Monitor usage to ensure compliance with vendor terms and contracts.
• Support governance, licensing controls, and training on license compliance.
• Analyze usage to identify underutilized licenses and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist vendor management, contract renewals, and procurement history.
