Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced License Management Specialist to oversee centralized licensing for Cornerstone engineering software globally. You will ensure compliance, optimize usage, and support budget planning.

The role is hybrid, based in Durban, South Africa, with three days in office and two remote days. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least four years in software asset or license management, preferably in a global/engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business, or related field with 4+ years of software asset or license management experience.
• Experience with global/engineering-focused environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Cornerstone or similar engineering software license governance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a centralized inventory of all Cornerstone engineering software licenses and related documents.
• Audit and validate license usage to ensure contractual and legal compliance.
• Interpret license entitlements, terms, and vendor obligations; mitigate risks.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for licenses.
• Collaborate with IT Procurement, Budget & Planning, and Governance teams globally.
