Job summary

AECOM is seeking a License Governance & Compliance Specialist to oversee centralized software licenses, ensuring legal and contractual compliance across the global enterprise. You will optimize usage, control costs, and support vendor negotiations as part of the Enterprise Capability teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, business, or related field and four (4) years of experience in license management and/or software asset management or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience in license management, software asset management, or IT procurement.

Responsibilities

Maintain a centralised and accurate inventory of all Cornerstone engineering software licenses, and related documents.
Monitor, audit, and validate software & license usage to ensure contractual and legal compliance against vendor terms and agreements.
Interpret license entitlements, terms, and vendor contractual obligations.
Mitigate compliance risks through proactive monitoring, process improvements, and internal awareness, including conducting of regular internal audits.
Contribute to the development of governance documents relating to licensing and set controls for compliance for software usage, and disposal.
