Job summary

The Global Talent Co. is seeking German-speaking Live Chat Customer Service Agents to support a European consumer brand on a remote, demand-based schedule.

A guaranteed baseline of 20 hours per week is provided, with the opportunity to scale up during peak campaigns and seasonal spikes. This live-chat-only role requires strong written German, excellent customer service instincts, and the ability to work independently within a structured team.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native German speaker; all customer communication is in German.
• Excellent written German, clear, warm, and professional.
• Prior experience in an ecommerce environment; understands online retail.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and complaints via live chat in German, professionally and promptly.
• Flex availability during campaign peaks and seasonal spikes.
• Resolve issues with empathy and efficiency, reflecting brand standards.
• Represent the brand voice consistently across interactions.
• Identify recurring issues and flag patterns to the team.
• Keep records accurate and up to date; collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues end-to-end.
