Job summary

Cross Border Talents in South Africa is hiring German-speaking Customer Support Agents to join an international team on a global retail project in Umhlanga, near Durban.

You will support German customers by phone, email and chat, assist with orders, deliveries, returns and product questions, and escalate complex issues with empathy.

Relocation assistance is provided, including a flight to Durban and company-paid accommodation, plus paid training and a welcoming, diverse team.

Qualifications

• German-speaking required with strong communication skills.
• Matric (Grade 12) and work eligibility in SA.
• Clear criminal and credit records.
• Customer service or call centre experience (retail experience is a plus).
• Able to handle multiple channels (phone, email, chat).
• Willing to work rotational shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in German via phone, email, and chat.
• Assist with orders, deliveries, returns, and product questions.
• Resolve complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Escalate complex issues when needed.
• Update and maintain accurate customer records.
