Job summary

Hospitality and Outdoor in Limpopo is seeking a hands-on General Manager for a luxury tented lodge in the Hoedspruit region. This full-time role requires leading all lodge operations including FOH, F&B, maintenance, finances and HR, with a guest-centric service philosophy and the ability to work under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years lodge management or 2 years general management in high-end establishments, strong financial acumen, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Management or Hospitality (Beneficial).
• Minimum 5 years Lodge Management experience or 2 years General Management Experience in High End Establishments (Essential).
• Good financial acumen (English).
• Very strong with Admin and HR.

Responsibilities

• Strong allrounder with deep knowledge of FOH, F&B, Maintenance, Finances, Operations, HR.
• Guest focused philosophy and hosting responsibilities.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining service quality.
• Demonstrate and promote flexibility and adaptability to changing shifts for a 24-hour operation.
• Manage and monitor costs and implement measures to control them.
• Provide effective leadership and guidance to all subordinates.
