Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking an Assistant Lodge Manager for Luxury Lodge operations in Hoedspruit. The role requires a relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 3 years supervisory hospitality experience, with strong front-of-house and F&B knowledge.

You will manage hosting, guest relations, and lodge finances, including budgeting and cost control, while maintaining professional grooming and a high service standard.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Management or Hospitality (Beneficial).
• At least 3 years Hospitality experience in a Supervisory role (Essential).
• Previous lodge experience preferred.
• Good understanding of 4/5 star lodge operations, especially Food and Beverage, Front of house, Duty management and Hosting (Essential).
• Must have experience in lodge finances (Budgets, Forecasting, Cost Control).
• Excellent Customer Relations and must love to host guests.
• Fluent in MS Office, MS Word & MS Excel.
• Professional and well groomed.
• Driver’s license essential.
