Job summary

FNB is seeking a Community Advisor for a 12-month hourly rate contract at a branch in South Africa. The role focuses on delivering prompt service, understanding customer needs, and processing various requests while promoting digital channels and self-service options.

The ideal candidate will have Grade 12, 1–3 years of frontline customer service experience, and strong communication skills to drive sales and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 (minimum) required
• Preferred: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or related fields
• 1–3 years of customer-facing experience in financial services

Responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly and professionally, ensuring their needs are understood
• Deliver an excellent customer experience aligned to service standards
• Guide customers toward digital and self-service solutions
• Identify sales opportunities and support portfolio growth
• Track and report sales and service activities for management
• Ensure accurate administration, reporting and timely updates
• Comply with governance and audit requirements
