Job summary

SAB Standerton is seeking a Field Sales Representative to drive growth in volumes and market share within the FMCG sector. You will manage distributors, ensure the full product range is stocked at customers and retail outlets, and place chillers for IB PLC products where appropriate.

You will monitor pricing at outlets and track competitive activity, requiring strong local knowledge and excellent administration. A 3-year degree and 2+ years FMCG sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-year degree qualification.
• Minimum 2 years in sales/marketing/FMCG.
• Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver's licence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Local area knowledge essential.
• Excellent administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise distributors of the assigned sector (order, payment, redistribution).
• Ensure IB products are available in adequate stock in customers and retail outlets.
• Ensure chillers are placed properly and used exclusively for IB PLC products.
• Monitor the recommended price at sales outlets.
• Closely monitor competitive actions.
