Job summary

SAB in East London seeks a dynamic sales professional to grow volumes and market share in the local FMCG sector. You will drive sales targets, manage distributors, ensure product availability and price integrity across outlets.

The role requires a 3-year degree, at least 2 years in FMCG sales, and solid administration and MS Office skills. A valid Code 8 driver's license and in-depth local knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3-year degree qualification (required).
• At least 2 years experience in sales/marketing/FMCG environment.
• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 drivers’ license.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Local area knowledge is a requirement.
• Excellent administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise distributors of assigned sector (order, payment, re-distribution).
• Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock (complete range) in the customers and retail outlets.
• Ensure chillers are properly placed in the outlet of the sector and used exclusively for IBPLC products.
• Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets.
• Closely monitor actions of the competition.
