Placements24 is recruiting a Sales Development Representative in Cape Town to support and accelerate our growing Fintech client’s sales efforts. You will identify and qualify potential leads, set up meetings, and hand off to Account Executives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales, customer service, or lead generation role is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CRM familiarity (HubSpot/Salesforce) is a plus.
• Keen interest in Fintech and technology.
• Must be comfortable with a hybrid environment requiring some office presence in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting activities via phone, email, and social media to generate new sales opportunities.
• Research target accounts to understand their business needs and identify key stakeholders.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure they meet the defined criteria for sales engagement.
• Schedule introductory meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to refine lead generation strategies and campaigns.
• Develop a deep understanding of our Fintech solutions and the value they provide to businesses.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and scheduled meetings.
