Qualifications

• Matric Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Financial certificate is advantageous, otherwise a finance background will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Capture debtor, supplier and producer invoices.
• Allocate costs correctly to sale/purchase orders.
• Check invoices for SARS tax invoice compliance.
• Capture payments in accounting system and match payments.
• Send remittances to suppliers.
• Ensure timely receipt of supplier invoices and statements.
• Attend to supplier queries and follow up.
• Obtain approval of invoices to be paid.
• Perform debtor and creditor reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cashflow.
• Prepare financial and ad-hoc reports and assist with annual audit.

An established fruit marketing concern based in Somerset West is seeking to employ a Financial Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will be the financial point of contact for suppliers and contributes to the professional image of the company. The financial clerk is responsible for the accurate, timely, and complete accounting of the income and costs. The staff member will be responsible for the reconciliation and reporting of the Cashbook, Creditors Balances, Cashflow forecasting, Cost allocations, operating expenses and relating functions.

Responsibilities

• Capture debtor, supplier and producer invoices
