Placements24 is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join our finance team in Midrand, Gauteng. You will optimize financial ERP systems, ensure data integrity, and support reporting and analysis, working closely with IT and finance to implement, maintain, and enhance applications.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in financial systems, experience with SAP FI/CO or Oracle Financials, strong SQL skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Financial Systems Analyst, ERP consultant, or similar role.
• Proven experience with major ERP systems such as SAP FI/CO or Oracle Financials.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system enhancements.
• Develop and execute test plans for system changes and upgrades.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for financial systems, resolving user issues promptly.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides and process flows.
• Assist in the development and automation of financial reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial systems meet business needs and compliance requirements.
• Participate in system optimization projects to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Provide training to end-users on financial system functionalities.
