Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst for its Corporate Finance team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The hybrid role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic decision support.

You will present insights to senior management and collaborate across departments to drive profitability and efficiency. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial analysis, strong Excel modeling skills, and experience with ERP/SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• CFA or CA (SA) certification is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for complex modeling and data manipulation.
• Experience with FP&A software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong accounting principles, financial reporting, and valuation methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation.
• Analyze financial statements and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare regular financial reports, variance analyses, and management presentations.
• Support strategic planning with financial analysis and projections.
• Assist in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, and other investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with business units to understand financial needs and provide analytical support.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and market trends.
