Placements24 is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join its finance team in Midrand. You will deliver critical financial insights, manage budgets, and support strategic planning, helping drive performance and accurate management reporting.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in management accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/CA(SA)) preferred. ERP experience and advanced Excel are highly valued.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CA(SA)) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Mansioni

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Provide financial support and strategic advice to various business units and management.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Oversee the management accounting function, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Drive process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
