Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Financial Planning Analyst in Randburg, South Africa, for a hybrid role combining office collaboration with remote work. You will build and refine financial models, perform variance analysis, and deliver insights to senior management to support strategic planning.

Qualifications include a finance-related bachelor's degree and 3–5 years FP&A experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial planning software or ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years FP&A, corporate finance, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial planning software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and trends.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for executive leadership.
• Support the annual budgeting process and contribute to rolling forecast updates.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decision-making.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide analytical support.
