Overview

A Multinational company within the education field is looking for a Finance Manager (Reference: CMF).

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with 2 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong experience within the education field and ability to join the team immediately.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Sage Evolution VIP Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Forecasting: responsible for feasibility studies for new campuses and offerings, drafting feasibility motivations, reviewing and advising on campus profitability, reviewing and proposing fee structure in line with the company’s strategy, and undertaking due diligence for new brand acquisitions.
• Budget Management: compile annual budgets, update as required, monitor and track performance against budget, liaise with Deans and budget managers, manage variances in actual vs. budget expenditure, manage the collections team regarding revenue collection and outstanding payments, and manage Capex in line with budgets and profitability ensuring accurate completion and proper authorisation.
• Financial Reporting & Cash Flow: implement a financial reporting and cash flow management plan to support the company’s strategy, collate and analyse financial performance information, ensure reports are produced accurately and disseminated on time monthly, quarterly, and annually, and manage BEEE reporting.
• Governance & Compliance: manage governance activities to maintain regulatory and internal standard compliance.
