Kontak Recruitment is seeking a Finance Assistant in Sandton, Johannesburg. You will support daily reconciliations, patient accounts and outstanding payments, reporting to the CFO while gaining exposure to financial controls and reporting projects.

The role demands 5 years in debtors/reconciliations, strong Excel skills, and accuracy with confidential data in a POPIA-compliant environment.

Qualificações

5 years’ experience in debtors, accounts administration, reconciliations or similar finance role.
Matric with Accounting.
Strong reconciliation skills and excellent attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Zoho Books experience advantageous.
First-year BCom in Accounting beneficial; relevant experience prioritized.

Responsabilidades

Reconcile daily cash-ups across card, EFT and other payment channels.
Maintain and balance patient accounts, issue statements and follow up on outstanding payments.
Manage debtor accounts and prepare age-analysis reports.
Investigate discrepancies and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
Assist the CFO with reporting, financial controls, system clean-ups and other finance projects.
Handle confidential financial and patient information with discretion in line with POPIA.
