Job summary

Kontak is seeking a Finance Assistant specialising in debtors and reconciliations for its Sandton office. You will work closely with the CFO on daily reconciliations, patient accounts and outstanding payments.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in debtors or reconciliations, strong Excel skills and attention to detail; Zoho Books experience is a plus.

This is a permanent, office-based role requiring integrity, discretion, and a stable work history.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in debtors, accounts administration or reconciliations.
• Matric with Accounting; first-year BCom is a plus.
• Strong reconciliation skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent Excel skills; Zoho Books experience is advantageous.
• Stable employment history with references preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily cash-ups across card and EFT payments.
• Maintain and balance patient accounts, issue statements, follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare age-analysis reports and manage debtor accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure records are accurate.
• Assist CFO with reporting, controls, and system clean-ups.
• Handle confidential information per POPIA requirements.
