Placements24 is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Electrical) to install, commission, service and repair electrical and electro-mechanical systems at customer sites across the Western Cape region. Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in field service or maintenance of industrial electrical equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and automation.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, control systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated service region.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
