Job summary

Herotel is recruiting a Field Sales Agent in South Africa to proactively identify and convert prospects into subscribers. You will manage a sales pipeline, plan daily routes and prospect aggressively to meet targets, with commission earnings tied to performance.

Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential as you interact with customers and hand over new subscribers to installation teams. You will require a Grade 12, a valid driver's license, and proven outbound sales

Qualifications

• Proven outbound sales experience (1–2 years) is required.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage time.
• Target-driven mindset with strong closing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and local languages.
• Willingness to learn CRM systems and MS Office tools.
• High personal integrity and reliable transport for field activity.
• Grade 12 qualification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell to new and existing customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell where opportunities exist.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through activation.
• Plan daily field routes, canvassing, and area penetration to build pipeline.
• Prospect, cold call, and pitch to subscribers to hit targets.
• Submit weekly activity reports and maintain CRM records daily.
• Deliver market intelligence on competitors and pricing for area planning.
• Hand over new subscribers to installation and after-sales teams.
