Job summary

Herotel in Piet Retief is seeking a Field Sales Agent to proactively identify, approach, and convert prospects into subscribers. You will manage the full sales cycle, generate leads, and hit KPI-driven targets with commission incentives.

The role requires self-motivation, strong communication, and the ability to work independently across the territory, including door-to-door activities to grow the customer base and revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven outbound sales track record (minimum 1–2 years).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Target-driven mindset and achievement orientated.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent sales and consultation skills.
• Able to communicate in English and applicable local languages.
• Proficient in MS Office and willingness to learn CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell to new and existing customers.
• Upselling, cross-selling where opportunities exist.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to activation.
• Plan and execute daily field sales routes, door-to-door canvassing and area penetration strategies to build a strong pipeline.
• Proactively prospect, cold call, and pitch to potential subscribers within the assigned territory to achieve sales targets.
• Submit accurate, timely weekly activity reports covering prospects contacted, pipeline status, sales closed and planned activity.
• Keep CRM records of all leads, interactions and sales activity up to date daily.
• Provide reliable market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing and customer sentiment to support area planning.
• Deliver a complete, quality handover of new subscribers to installation and after sales teams.
• Represent Herotel professionally in the assigned area.
