Job summary

Herotel Telecoms (Pty) Ltd in South Africa is seeking a self-motivated Field Sales Agent for the Central Region to identify, approach, and convert prospective customers into subscribers of our services.

You will own the sales cycle from first contact to activation, build a personal sales strategy, and maintain a healthy pipeline while reporting activity weekly.

A valid driver's license, Grade 12, and 1–2 years outbound sales experience are required; English and local language fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Outbound sales experience (1–2 years)
• Own transport and driver's license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and local languages
• Ability to work independently and meet targets
• Knowledge of broadband fibre/LTE or wireless products is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell to new and existing customers
• Manage full sales cycle from contact to activation
• Develop and refine personal sales strategy
• Identify opportunities in housing estates, complexes and business parks
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads at all stages
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing and sentiment
• Represent Herotel professionally and reflect our values in the assigned area
• Submit accurate weekly activity reports and keep CRM updated
• Follow up with warm/unconverted leads within agreed timeframes
• Handover to installation and after-sales teams smoothly
