Job summary

Herotel is seeking a Field Sales Agent in Limpopo to proactively identify and convert prospective customers into subscribers. The role is target-driven and field-based, with commission earnings tied to performance, and requires building and managing a sales pipeline and lead-generation strategy.

The candidate will execute daily field routes, prospect potential subscribers, and manage the full sales cycle from contact to activation while maintaining CRM records and delivering weekly activity

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of outbound sales experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Target-driven mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must communicate in English and local languages.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to learn CRM systems.
• Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Experience selling broadband fibre, LTE or wireless internet is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell to new and existing customers
• Upselling, cross-selling where opportunities exist
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to activation
• Plan and execute daily field sales routes, door-to-door canvassing, and area penetration strategies
• Proactively prospect, cold call, and pitch to potential subscribers within the assigned territory to achieve sales targets
• Submit accurate, timely weekly activity reports covering prospects contacted, pipeline status, sales closed and planned activity
• Keep CRM records of all leads, interactions and sales activity complete and current on a daily basis
• Provide reliable, current market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing and customer sentiment to support area planning
• Deliver a complete, quality handover of new subscribers to the installation and after sales teams
• Represent Herotel professionally in the assigned area, reflecting the company's values in every customer interaction
