Placements24 is seeking an experienced Spa Director to lead a luxury spa in Upington, South Africa. This executive role covers strategic direction, operations, staff management, marketing, guest experiences and budgetary control.

The ideal candidate will have extensive spa or luxury hospitality experience, strong financial acumen, and a passion for service excellence to elevate the brand and profitability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in spa management or luxury hospitality management.
• Proven track record in P&L management, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Deep knowledge of spa operations, treatments and wellness trends.
• Experience in staff development, training and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive revenue and profitability.
• Lead, recruit, train, and manage spa staff, fostering excellence and teamwork.
• Oversee daily spa operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Curate a comprehensive menu of spa services and treatments.
• Manage inventory, vendor relationships and budgets; monitor marketing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
