Placements24 is seeking a Branch Operations Director for its flagship George store, a senior leadership role responsible for strategy, operations, and profitability. You will influence every facet of the branch, from inventory accuracy to staff development, ensuring a premier customer experience in the Western Cape.

The ideal candidate brings a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) and at least 10 years of progressive retail management, including multi-department or branch-wide oversight,

Qualifications

• MBA in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive retail management experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple departments or an entire branch.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the George branch to meet or exceed financial and operational goals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans, including sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, customer service, and loss prevention.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing team of store staff and department managers.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations.
• Manage the branch's budget, P&L, and financial performance effectively.
• Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for George patrons.
