Placements24 in George, Western Cape is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all human resources functions for the branch. This hands-on role balances strategic policy development with day-to-day operations, reporting to the Regional Operations Director.

You will lead recruitment, onboarding, training and development programs, employee relations, and performance management, ensuring compliance with SA labor law and contributing to a positive and productive work environment across store

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a comprehensive HR role, preferably in the retail sector.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience managing HR functions in a branch or store environment is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes to hire staff.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws.
• Oversee onboarding, training and development programs.
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
• Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide feedback to employees and managers.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation.
