Placements24 is seeking an experienced Events Manager to plan and execute impactful events in the Paarl area. You will manage all aspects from concept to post-event analysis, coordinating fundraising galas, community workshops, and awareness campaigns with a blend of on-site and remote planning.

The role requires proven event management expertise, strong organizational and negotiation abilities, and excellent communication to lead vendor relations and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in non-profit or hospitality sectors.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience with event management software and budgeting tools.
• Hybrid schedule with occasional evenings and weekends as events demand.

About the Role
