Placements24 seeks an organized Events Coordinator for a dynamic event management company based in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will coordinate logistics, manage vendor relationships, communicate with clients, and oversee event execution from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning or coordination is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordination of event logistics (venue, catering, transport, AV).
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and ensure vision realization.
• Liaise with vendors to negotiate services and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare event documentation: timelines, floor plans, guest lists.
• Provide on-site support during events and address issues.
• Manage event budgets and track expenses.
• Support marketing and promotional activities for events.
• Conduct post-event follow-up and collect client feedback.
• Maintain organized event files and databases.
