Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor''s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in event coordination or operations support.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Benoni, Gauteng, ZA, and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, equipment rental, and transportation.
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to agreements.
• Assist in the development of event schedules, floor plans, and operational run sheets.
• Provide on-site support during events, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Manage event inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on event details.
• Assist with budget tracking and expense management for event operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations at all event venues.
• Support the Operations Manager in post-event analysis and reporting.
• Maintain organized event documentation and records.
