Job summary

Disruptive IT (Pty) Ltd is recruiting two experienced Junior End User Computing (EUC) Support Engineers for a three-month contract with an enterprise client based in Richards Bay. The role requires hands-on corporate IT support experience and the ability to assist end users with a range of Windows/M365 issues.

The position is onsite in Richards Bay and suitable for candidates with 2–3 years in EUC/desktop support. Availability to commence at contract start date is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' practical experience in EUC, Desktop Support, or IT Helpdesk.
• Corporate/enterprise IT support background.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and MS 365.
• Basic AD and networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line onsite desktop and laptop support to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and operating system issues.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops.
• Support Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Assist users with Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Perform basic Active Directory administration tasks including password resets and account unlocks.
• Troubleshoot printers, scanners, peripherals and basic connectivity issues.
• Log, update, track and resolve incidents and service requests using ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Assist with workstation installations, equipment relocations and IT asset verification.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting including LAN, Wi‑Fi and connectivity issues.
• Escalate unresolved technical incidents to senior engineers.
• Maintain accurate support records and technical documentation.
• Follow client IT policies, security procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Provide professional, efficient and customer-focused technical support.
