University of Fort Hare seeks a Senior Tier 3 EUC Engineer with advanced hands-on expertise in ManageEngine Endpoint Central to lead complex End User Computing activities on a long-term contract. The role emphasizes advanced endpoint management, patching, OS imaging, software deployment and device configuration, while serving as a senior escalation point for EUC incidents.

Qualifications include IT Diploma/NQF Level 5, MCSDP, ITIL Foundation, and the ManageEngine Endpoint Central certification.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 5 or IT Diploma required.
• Apple Certified Support Professional certification preferred.
• ITIL 4/5 Foundation certification required.
• Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator certification required/Architect version.
• ManageEngine Endpoint Central Device Management Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III remote and onsite support for EUC incidents.
• Act as senior escalation point for Tier I/II teams.
• Troubleshoot endpoints, devices, OS, apps and configurations.
• Deploy and manage desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices.
• Maintain OS images, standard builds, patches and software deployments.
• Administer endpoint management across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge articles.
