Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide solution implementations in Welkom, South Africa. You will guide projects from initiation to close, coordinating IT, business units, and external vendors to ensure successful system integrations and process improvements.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex dependencies in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically with enterprise software implementations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and change management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of enterprise solution implementation projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and end-users, to define project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee the delivery of third-party components or services.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
