You will design, develop, and implement electrical systems for solar, wind, and other sustainable energy projects, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and grid integration.

The role offers a hybrid work model, combining collaborative work at our East London facility with focused remote work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering with renewable energy projects.
Familiarity with solar PV design, battery storage, and grid integration principles.
Proficiency in electrical design and simulation software relevant to renewable energy.
Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including PV solar farms and wind turbine installations.
Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analyses for grid connection and system performance.
Specify electrical components, inverters, battery storage systems, and protection devices.
Ensure compliance with grid codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations for renewable energy projects.
Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and external stakeholders on project design and execution.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new renewable energy installations.
Assist in the commissioning and troubleshooting of renewable energy electrical systems.
