Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Process Optimization Engineer for our East London operations. You will analyze and improve manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma, reduce waste, and drive productivity improvements in a key industrial hub of the Eastern Cape.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, 4+ years of experience, and strong analytical skills. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams, and you will develop dashboards to monitor

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
4+ years in process engineering, operations analysis, or industrial engineering.
Strong Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Design, develop, and implement Lean/Six Sigma based optimizations.
Conduct studies on workflow, material handling, and equipment utilization to enhance performance.
Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track key indicators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes effectively.
Provide training and support to operational teams on new processes and best practices.
