Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer specializing in Process Improvement for our Upington operations. You will analyze workflows, identify optimization opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

The role blends on-site engagement with flexible hybrid work in the Northern Cape region. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering or process improvement.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Design and document new or revised operational procedures and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and management, to implement process changes.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process improvements.
• Monitor the performance of implemented changes and ensure their long-term effectiveness.
